Happy New Year!

Happy New Year's Eve everyone!

Ours was very family mellow. Jo's cousin came over with her two kids - Sage's cousins - and they played til quite late. Here are some of the action shots....

Sage just found out that the Santa makes a noise when you tap him, so he likes to bounce when the music comes on. By the time Jo got the camera up and filming this time, Santa had already been hit about 4 times and Sage was winding down, but still had some kick left in him...

The kids are cute and the younger one is a pip (as Grampa says). They were playing well and the older one (Nini) took great care of her little cuz. Here Nini is playing with a bat and she says "bai bai" which is the traditional way you pray to a god - not: bye bye - although it is the same sound....

They are just fooling around and winding down a bit. Nini says "Wei?" when she picks up the phone, since that is what you say in Taiwan instead of 'Hello?' Sage is just absorbing everything.

Just as I am about to stop filming, "RongRong" (which I like to tease her as "WrongWrong") says: "Wo yao kan!" which means "I want to look!" since she knows she is on film and like everyone else, loves to see themselves.

Anyway, just some simple fun.

Here's to a great New Year!
