Sensory Overload

We are all about sensory overload at times here. Thankfully, most of the toys have been hand me downs or gifts, so the overload is not in debt, which is always nice.....

Some Sand Art

Over the Chinese New Year (when it was not freezing cold and rainy), we were able to head out to where our friend and tenant Peter grew up. Very close to his parent's house was a sand art celebration, so we went to check it out.

Sage's 2 Teeth

Ever since I read that some babies get their teeth when they are 3 months (all the way up to over a year), every time he got a little cranky I always thought a tooth was coming out. Sage even had my parents and us fooled over Xmas when we thought we felt something on the top of his mouth, that turned out just to be his gum.

But, over the last few days, one, then two teeth have popped out and Sage is doing remarkably well. He is sleeping less and drooling more, but we have a plethera of toys to keep him busy.

After many unsuccessful attempts at trying to take a picture, we got lucky with one.

Random Sage and Family

Things have been hectic the last few days before Chinese New Year, but even so we have been trying to take more pictures and videos. Here are some randoms over the last few days.

Sage has been eating more and more from when we first started a month ago and he is getting much better and quicker in downing his vittles. His favorite time of course is....

Thaz right, I'm cool.


We took out our built in bath tubs since they were old and leaky, so we just created a large flat space to take a shower in. We had planned to get a wooden soaker tub (which are popular here) but they were quite expensive. So when we saw this huge plastic monstrosity - I mean bathtub at our equivalent to The Home Depot, we impulsively bought it (since it was also a fraction of the cost). Here, mom and Sage are the first ones to try it out!



Yeah! It is comfy!
Yes, that is green water since we use an organic bathsoap for Sage that turns water green.

We enjoy our plants as well.
