Daddy, Momma and Shu Shu

Just a few updated pics from the last few weeks or so.

Things are pretty much the same here, but Sage has been blossoming in his vocabulary and utterance length.  We are now up to an average of 2-3 (Sage) words at a time and it is a hoot to actually understand him more now.

Numbers and letters are a cake walk for him now.

Here are some examples:

  • Daddy, sit down! (he says this with terrible clarity)
  • Shu Shu (his name for himself) Mum mum! = Sage wants to eat
  • Daddy, Momma and Shu Shu!  (whenever he can he finds three things: large is Daddy, medium is Mommy and small is Shu Shu); he does this a lot
  • Shhhhh! = You are too loud!  Be quiet!  (Jo and I don't really like this when we are angry - which can make things worse for him - but it is hard to stay angry...)
  • Ah Un, Ah Un = Movie (It's movie time! - have no clue where he made up that)
  • Ba Buhn = his trinity of Peter Penguin, Panda and Kitty (I think this is an effort from 'penguin')
  • Ba Buhn, Way, Way? = Where the heck is my trinity?
  • Pee Pee & Ki Ki! = I have to pee now and whoo hoo, I'm gunna get candy later!  (our reward system)
  • Ki Ki, Pleee.... = Please give me candy!
  • No tzree, Fo, Fo = I don't want three, I want four!
  • Appee, plee = Open, please!
  • Doh, close, Doh, Appee = Close the door, nah, Open it!
  • Poo Poo! Daddy, No!= Whoops, I have to poop! Don't Watch! (then he runs to get diapers on or to a corner to 'do his business'; we are not allowed to watch at all)
  • Shu Shu, Shu = Those are Sage's shoes (pointing at his shoes)
  • Daddy, Shu (Those are....you get the picture)
  • Up, Up Daddy (Dad, can I go up?)
  • Appu, Bwoo and GoGo = Red - is for apples that stuck for anything red now, Blue and Green is for cars go go...
  • Appu appu, sta, sta = Red lights mean stop!
  • Nello, Shu Shu, mum mum nello = A yellow thing - hey, Sage wants to eat a banana
  • Kik, Kik Dahng = Let's kick the balloon!
  • Fazz, fazz = Fast! Faster!
  • Shu Shu, Batball = Sage wants to get some batting practice in before the season ends
  • D, Daddy; D, Daddy (When he sees the alphabet or random letters he will inevitably get into repeating this a few thousand times...)
  • Boooh, Boooh, Daddy (or Mommy) = Let's read, now
  • Pooh, Pigge; Pooh, Pigge = Pooh and Piglet
  • Daddy out, out = Daddy has to go out now, sigh....
  • Shu Shu Hohm = Sage is stuck at home
  • Daddy Hohm = I want Daddy home (Jo says he says this a lot, breaks my heart...)
There are more, but you get the idea. It is fun now and I can't wait til he learns even more.  Now we have to be very careful about what we say and do since he does mimic and learn so fast!
