It is Chinese New Year time again.
I usually am lucky to brag that by living in Taiwan, I can get two vacations: one for Western Xmas and another for Chinese New Year.
This year, our Xmas was much less cheerful than we planned and we did not get any vacation, except if you sarcastically count the 2 weeks in the hospital - which I am sure you will not.....
.....so we are happy to finally have a 9 day break starting last night after my story class.
We plan to go to TPE to see Jo's mom for 2 days and then we will go south for 2 days to visit Jo's friend who lives by the ocean for some good seafood. Then, I will be amazed if I go farther than the local 7-11 for the remaining of the holiday. At a time when the entire population of Taiwan is on the move, my philosophy is "home is where everything is."
Plus, I have some serious gaming to do....
